Effective time management is everybody's concern in today's busy life. Earning and career are most considered as the most important requirements for today's modern world. Drastic changes are happening in lifestyles because of globalization. Most of the business men even don't have time to think about the leisure time. Here some tips for effective time management. Prioritize your daily tasks. Before prioritizing it is better to list the duties to be completed with in selected time says a day or a month or a year. After listing rank the important duties to be done. The list should be in achievable manner. Perform the task in efficient manner: this is very important to complete the task without any mistake at scheduled time. If the mistakes occur prevent them such a manner they should not reoccur at the time of performing task. You should have proper knowledge and good observation skill to detect the common mistakes and find a simple solution to the problem. The completed task should give the satisfaction to the performer.
Avoid unnecessary time consumption: This is the core necessity in effective time management. To avoid unnecessary time consumption you should understand the clear purpose of the task and the time frame with in which to be completed. One could work efficiently if you understand the importance of the task and your role in it. Delegate the duties to others: Delegation skill plays important role in effective time management. It is better to delegate the duties to appropriate people in order to save the time. But one should careful while delegating it should not cause to repeat the task again.
Evaluation is very important in effective time management because you can find whether the duties were performed efficiently with in the scheduled time. If you are satisfied with the performance you can reward yourself. If the task is not performed as per your expectation you should ready to punish yourself. Here punishment means decrease the number of cups of tea or having simple meal etc. If you truly want to stop shunning work and learn to manage your time better you should seriously consider doing something about it because if you don't do it the old behavior will continue. Focusing on the common areas of effective time management it should reduce the amount of time spent on each job. The problem of time management has worsened with corporate down sizing. Employers are running leaner and meaner organizations in which three people are being asked to do what six used to do. This effective time management ideas extended to the domestic life from workplace because most of the families both husband and wife are earners plus they should give the care to their children and old parents. As a result more individuals require effective time management training in hope that time management skills can help to keep fast paced, multi performers on track, and even improve the quality of their lives and work.
